Кондукторы в автобусах ~ Bus conductors

По результатам только что прошедшего голосования на BBC, 81% британцев согласны платить за билет на четверть больше, но чтобы при этом в автобусы вернулись кондукторы. Видимо, в их автобусах кондукторы другие. Я вот почему-то совсем не скучаю по такому счастью...

The outcome of a poll just held on BBC says that 81% of the British would be willing to pay 25% more for the ticket, if they could see conductors in buses again. In Russia it's still the case that every bus has a conductor. And I definitely don't miss that here. Just imagine a tough lady elbowing her way through the crowd in a rush hour...
